CCB’s Compliance Program

Anonymous Compliance Helpline: 1-800-585-7970

CCB’s Compliance Program reflects our commitment to the highest standards of integrity and ethics, and our goal to promote a culture of compliance. CCB is committed to complying with the requirements of the DSRIP program and applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations in all its activities. CCB’s Compliance Program has been designed to meet the mandatory compliance obligations set forth in New York State Social Services Law.

CCB’s Compliance Program does not replace the compliance programs of Participants in the CCB network. Instead, the CCB Compliance Program supplements the compliance programs and activities of CCB Participants, providing procedures and oversight on operations, activities, and projects associated with the DSRIP program.

CCB will use DSRIP funding to further leverage clinical and technological infrastructure developed collaboratively over the last five years to establish an integrated system of care across a broad range of medical, behavioral and social sectors. This will improve care coordination and communication among providers throughout the borough and enhance population health management for the most complex patients.

CCB Code of Conduct

CCB has adopted a Code of Conduct to reflect a culture that supports prevention, detection and remediation of DSRIP-related compliance concerns. The CCB Code of Conduct outlines the compliance principles and standards of legal and ethical conduct for members of CCB’s Governance Committees, CSO management team members and staff and CCB Participants.

CCB Participants should familiarize themselves with the contents of the CCB Code of Conduct and ensure that the legal and ethical principles referenced are upheld without exception.

CCB DSRIP Compliance Education

Intended for members of CCB Governance Committees, CSO management team members and staff, and CCB Participants, the CCB DSRIP Compliance Education includes compliance expectations related to the DSRIP program, roles of CCB Participants in DSRIP projects, and how and where to report fraud, waste, or abuse of DSRIP funds.

CCB Participants should review the CCB DSRIP-Compliance Education below and ensure that the legal and ethical principles are upheld and CCB Participant roles and reporting on compliance concerns are understood.

Anonymous Compliance Helpline

Maimonides uses a toll-free helpline, staffed by an outside company to provide a convenient and confidential way for an individual to report violations of the law, including DSRIP-related concerns or CCB policy or to seek guidance on a particular ethical issue. Members of CCB Governance Committees, CSO management team members and staff, and others involved in implementation of DSRIP projects are encouraged to discuss their concerns first with a supervisor or member of the CCB management team. The Compliance Helpline provides an alternative for use if someone is uncomfortable with talking with a supervisor or member of the CCB management team, or would prefer to report a concern anonymously. The toll-free Compliance Helpline may be reached at 1-800-585-7970, and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

For more information on what happens during and after your call, please refer to the CCB Code of Conduct.
